Yay for Halloween!
Yesterday I’ve been on my very first Halloween party. Geez, I became 20 years old this year but I guess you’re never too old for Halloween parties. In fact Halloween becomes so much more fun when you get older. *harhar*
But first things first: I got a message from a former class mate this week who invited me to this party – well, “Halloween Barbecue”. The funny thing was that I had to mail back the day before I got the message ‘cause the message itself had been send two or three days ago. Hmm, how very odd…
Anyways, I phoned her back and everything went alright. She was pleased I promised to come for I’m one of those people you can never be sure of whether they come to the goddamn party or not. (I’m not the party-people type.) Costumes obligatory! Okay, I always wanted to be a witch, so now or never.

I LOVE my hat. It’s black and pointy. <3 I made it myself, or rather I intended to make it myself and was half finished already but my mum was all “It won’t last ten minutes this way.”, snatched it from me and “did it properly”. *sigh* Oh, bother… I’m 20 years old, mum!!! Well, since it came out even better than I thought and DID last longer than ten minutes I have no reason to complain… geez! =3=
Either way, I was not parted from this hat until I reached the car to drive to the party for it is too high to wear it in the car.

You have to drive for about half an hour through the middle of nowhere to reach that barbecue area – in Germany you say literally “barbecue hut” for either a grill within a relatively big, open hut (more commonly it’s simply a fireplace with some kind of roof above it) or a barbecue area PLUS hut/little summerhouse where you have electricity, running water, etc. I guess that’s what barbecue areas look in general but since I’m not an expert and prefer to make the barbecue at home, I cannot say for sure. The point is I couldn’t say whether the hut was only a roof or a real hut, still I wore a miniskirt and “reverse-fishnet”-stockings. Gosh, it was about 7°C outside, my legs were frozen! And I was somewhat of glad it WAS a real hut. And it had even a fireplace inside. Yay!

The party itself was… fun but odd. There was quite a lot of – purposely disgusting looking but okay tasting – food, tons of sweets, some crazy folks I knew from school but couldn’t quite remember the names of and some people I did not know but still didn’t manage to memorize their names; the guy responsible for the music was a metal fan and strictly against any other kind of music; the guys responsible for the barbecue never did that before and so the meat was still half raw – well, there are people out there who like their steaks “bloody”, but I do not. However, I stayed from 7 pm until 1 am.

Too bad I was not allowed to drink – had to get the car home somehow – ‘cause they had lots of alcohol and pretty good stuff even. But in the end it turned out to be better that way for I obviously got a food poisoning and when I was at home I couldn’t quite sleep, I woke up, felt totally sick and had to vomit. So much about the end of this night… it was 4 am then. After a bottle of water and a kiwi I went back to sleep and woke up again at about 9 am, still asleep but too hungry and too sick to stay in bed.

What remained? A feeling of “Did someone write down the number of that car that just drove all over me?!”, someone forgot his mobile phone in my car, I was promised a certain computer game *cough, cough* and my friend threatened me, she said she’d hate me forever if I won’t come to her birthday next week, which I simply cannot since she lives about 200 km away and I don’t have any money for the train, gave my last 10 Euro for that party.
